James started his career in 1971, working with a Victoria, TX based regional CPA firm. This association allowed him the opportunity
to work with a significant number of high income, high net worth business and professional entrepreneurs and become familiar with
their concerns and opportunities. In 1974, after obtaining his CPA designation, James left public accounting and established his own
financial services firm in Victoria so that he could help clients “look ahead” rather than having to concentrate on the preparation of
last year’s tax return or financial statement. Over the years, “looking ahead” has involved working with clients to help them develop
“legacy plans” for their families that should benefit the principals and their heirs for generations. James has been assisting
his clients with their retirement, investment and insurance plans to help implement the strategies developed in their legacy planning.
This has involved working in close coordination with some well respected legal and tax practitioners in the state of Texas. View my background on FINRA's BrokerCheck.
